SHOW NOTES:

Too many in the Church aren't recognizing the pitfalls of Entitlements, Escapes, and Entanglements.

Entitlements cause one to not remain in a place of readiness for God. It makes us want others to be ready to do our will.

Escapes create MORE work for us than remaining committed, consistent, and faithful.

We create neuro-pathways that teach us to settle for these shortcuts instead of a deeper work in discipleship, intimacy, and consistency in our integrity.

Entanglements are the unforeseen consequences of allowing Entitlements to have their way in eroding our faith in God's ways. The trust others have in our integrity.

We have to be very aware how our entitlements usher us to places where entanglements and escapes spring to life.

These are so damaging to the opportunities, outcomes, and outpourings of a deepening faith because they seek to gum of the whole plan that was intended to take shape.

1 Cor 10:13

"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

My encouragement to you is to see that God's faithfulness doesn't stop for those who he has rescued from temptation successfully. He comes after you no matter how entangled you are because of the escapes you pursued because you thought you were once entitled
